SPECPIC - a short overwiev and guide to the related archives -

 We made several changes and additions to our freeware DOS-based
 Filebrowser and Database utility SPECPIC such as:

 - A thumbnail-image filestarter for many Emulatorfiles
 - Powerful new features for the database module

 - Support for Bernd Waschkeīs german Spectrum Emulator (SPECEMUG.ZIP)
   Bernds original distribution file is called "!SPECEMU.EXE" which
   is the only file in "SPECEMUG.ZIP". I made this to avoid confusion
   with other filenames

 - now we splitted the stuff into several archives, because the complete
 - project together with Bernds emulator would make a file of more than
   1meg. 

 - a configuration tool to make things easier.
 - and more..


A first full version will be ready in a few month. We still have work to
do to, especially with the database module. We are thinking about new
features, but on this point, i wont tell you too much.. Mail questions

   CONV2SEM.EXE  converts any snapshot format into the SEM-snapshot format
   CREBLOCK.EXE  converts any binary file into a tape image block (Lunter format)

SPECEMUG.ZIP
============

   This one is not part of the SPECPIC project (yet!). Its another
   german emulator for the ZX-Spectrum (a Shareware project from
   the former GDR). You need this one to access the .SEM files
   from within SPICFILE.ZIP.

   The Zip includes one self-extracting file "!SPECEMU.EXE".
