Along with The Great Space Race, it ranks as one of the worst games ever written. Shizoids was so terrible, it was rapidly given another name, by simply inserting a "t" into the title. An interesting bug in the code led to "phantom keypresses" which were particularly evident on my cockroach issue 2 Spectrum, with the result that Shizoids would play itself, (Just like TGSR!) leaving me to do less painful things, such as boiling my head. :) On a positive light, Shizoids is probably the first ever Vector Game written for the ZX Spectrum.
